Specializing in inventive storytelling, uniquely human characters, & eccentric storyboarding, Kailani's imaginative take on writing is as bright as the Sunshine state she was born. No stranger to a chronic existential crisis, these definitive moments in her young adult life led her to pursue a BFA—and eventually an MFA—in creative writing at Full Sail University.

During her time there she discovered her true strength: igniting creative sparks. Whether it be within herself or those around her, she always found herself helping with brainstorming, development, & constructive feedback that led to better solutions. Translating this to her own writing was difficult but resulted in impactful stories that enthrall audiences for years to come.

Unable to limit herself to one genre of writing, Kailani willingly dives into concepts she may not understand yet if a project requires it. Flexible & patient, she ensures that a project can reach its full fruition for audiences to experience. Recently, she worked for Bungie as a Narrative Designer and helped bring fresh ideas & new content to players for Destiny 2.
